Finals
This week was finals week for me. I would have finished up with my last final today, but school was canceled due to weather. So I make up the last final on Tuesday (since Monday is a holiday). Finals have gone very well so far. Calculus and Chemistry were very easy, and English went reasonably well also - I think I have an A for all of them. My last final is Government, which won’t be a problem, due to the combination of my having memorized all of the content on the test and the fact that my current grade in the class (97) means that I can make a 67 on the final and still get an A on the course.
Botball has now started, and the problem looks like a lot of fun. I can’t give any details on that, since the game is classified. I notice that DeWitt Perry Middle School, which had been in the Oklahoma region, has switched over to the Texas region. I suspect this is because Mr. Culp (their Botball adult leader) was tired of losing to the best teams in the country (including Norman High and Southwest Covenant). Until the Botball regional tourney on March 3, I’ll probably be really busy. After which I will also be busy with a science fair project for the 2008 fair. And hopefully I will be able to find a job this summer, which would make me even busier. So don’t expect loads of posts here.
I was planning to have a New Year’s present up here, but it isn’t done yet (and may be suspended indefinitely). Maybe next year.
